Karina Vernon takes some photographs of the underside of the Georgia Viaduct at Main Street just south of Union Street. Austin Phillips says in the book Opening Doors: Vancouver's East End (1979): "Corner of Main and Union was the Bingarra Hotel which has been torn down since the new viaduct opened."

I was just looking at your HAMP
work on Hogan's Alley again and it is beautiful!

This history of the Black Community and the presence in BC (and Canada) will be a learning experience for a lot of people.
As for the people that knew of this history we can be grateful that you took time to honor it by documenting it.

An amazing amount of time must have been spent on research. Your love for the project is very evident.
